The All Black Sonny Bill Williams says his fight for the New Zealand heavyweight boxing title next month is still on.
Williams was scheduled to fight Richard Tutaki in Hamilton on February 8th, but he's been dropped from the card as he's facing criminal charges.
Williams says Joe Wilson and Clarence Tillman, who are both ranked in the top three in New Zealand, are likely replacements.
Williams says he was shattered when he heard Tutaki had been withdrawn, and it was probably the biggest setback of his sporting career so far.
Williams' contract with the NZRU allows him to fight 3 times this year.
