The Christchurch cyclist Joanne Kiesanowski has finished 4th in the omnium at the latest World Cup track meet in Beijing to move into the top ten of the overall standings.
The 32-year-old US-based professional was tied for 4th which improves her to 8th in the World Cup standings, enhancing her chances of qualification for the London Olympic Games where the six-discipline omnium will debut.
There is one World Cup remaining that doubles as the Olympic test event at the London Velodrome next month.
