China's Li Na has reached the third round of the Australian Open with a 6-2 6-2 win over Olivia Rogowska, the 29-year-old's best run at a major since her breakthrough win at the French Open.
The fifth seed broke serve three times in the first set and twice in the third, clinching the match when Rogowska hit a wild return which bounced over the sideline.
Li will next meet Spain's Annabel Medina Garrigues, the 26th seed, who crushed Belarusian Olga Govortsova 6-1 6-0.
