This probably has nothing to do with our reporting, but Parliament's health select committee is urging the Government to improve sexual and reproductive health care and education for young people.
In a report released on Monday, it says more must be done about New Zealand's high rate of unplanned and teen pregnancy.
It says that New Zealand stands out among developed countries for its high rates of unplanned pregnancy - estimated at between 40% and 60% of all pregnancies - and other issues including terminations and sexually-transmitted infections.
The committee says the findings of its wide-ranging inquiry into Improving Child Health Outcomes and Preventing Child Abuse have the broad agreement of all its members across political parties.
Meanwhile, rape prevention groups want urgent change made to the law with more rights for rape victims.
