Over the summer, RNZ's Music 101 is getting musical guests into the studio, and asking them to compile a mixtape of their favourites.
In celebration of the news that Auckland soul posse Opensouls are reuniting, guitarist, gearhead and musical chameleon Jeremy Toy of shoegaze-turned-disco duo She’s So Rad makes an hour long mixtape of post Off The Wall boogie.
Jeremy shares music making tips, insights into how he’s adapted to a recent head injury, and an infectious enthusiasm for Luther Vandross.
