Labour support down in latest poll

A new political poll has the Labour Party falling to 22.5 percent support, down 2.4 points, while National is virtually unchanged from its July poll on 55 percent.

The Stuff /Ipsos poll shows the Greens 11.3 percent, Internet-Mana lifiting to 2.1 percent and the Conservative Party rising to 3.4 percent, level pegging with New Zealand First.

John Key is, at 54.3, percent the preferred prime minister, compared with Labour leader David Cunliffe on 12 percent support.

The poll shows a high proportion of undecided voters, at 15.4 per cent.

The poll was taken from Saturday to Wednesday and has a margin of error of 3.1 percent.
