Hard times for party pill king

Party pill entrepreneur Matt Bowden has been locked out of his lab after his company Stargate Operations was put into liquidation, according to a report.

High times have turned to hard times for the company since the Government banned synthetic cannabis products last year.

In an answerphone message, Bowden said his lawyers had told him not to disclose details of the liquidation and he did not wish to comment further because a recent bereavement

However, in an interview with 3 News, Bowden said the company could not afford to pay its bills and he was barely able to afford weekly groceries for himself.

“I have had to put the company into liquidation, which is really horrible because there [are] people I would like to pay money to. I just can't do that.”

Dealing with the liquidation of his company had been more difficult than dealing meth addiction, he said. “This has been the most difficult time in my life.”

Bowden told 3 News that he now wants to set up a not-for-profit organisation to produce natural cannabis medicine.
