Prolific post-punk band Die! Die! Die! have just finished a tour of New Zealand and Australia to promote their new EP What Did You Expect. Recorded on an East London canal boat by the band’s new bassist Rory Attwell, the record consists of five high-energy indie-punk bangers.
The band have made an international name for themselves by touring extensively since their formative years in Dunedin in the early 2000s. While the latest release follows a brief hiatus, we can expect to hear more from them soon as they head to Byron Bay to lay down some more tracks to be released in the near future.
We caught up with the trio at Death Ray Records before catching their extremely loud (until the PA blew up) set at Moon in Newtown.
