Having taken a mysterious breather this year after its actually very good 2016 debut, music festival Auckland City Limits is set to return in 2018 and the first line-up has just been announced.

Beck - no doubt a score for festival promoter Campbell Smith who said he was frustrated when the 90’s icon fell through in 2016 - and Grace Jones will headline, along with French house duo Justice and (also French) pop-rockers Phoenix.

New Zealand acts include SWIDT, Magic Factory, Katchafire and Aaradhna along, with classic kiwi acts like The D4 and Head Like A Hole.

With pre-sales for Spark customers starting Monday [October 30] and early bird tickets set to go on sale for $179.90 at 9am on November 1st, Auckland City Limits will return to Western Springs on March 3rd 2018.
