One person has died after a crash at a carpark in Hamilton.
The incident was reported about 12.50pm on Monday, police said.
The carpark was closed, but it had been reopened by 3.45pm.
Police initially said the crash was in York Street and road diversions were in place, but later said the carpark was in the Clyde Street area.
Inquiries are being made into the crash.
As 2022 came to a close, the Ministry of Transport's road toll count reached a provisional figure of 378 people killed on New Zealand roads during the year.
