Pacific leaders have issued a challenge to developed countries to talk less and do more about climate change, and to help small island nations protect their fisheries.

The calls came at the end of the leaders' retreat at the Pacific Islands Forum in Palau.
Palau president Tommy Remengesau said it was is time for developed countries to stop talking about the problems facing Pacific nations and get on with practical help.
He said small island nations are doing their part to protect fish stocks by limiting commercial fishing or creating marine reserves, and in return, they need help with enforcement.
Mr Remengesau says the only long-term solution to rising seas is a deep global cut in carbon emissions.
