Sinéad O'Connor's death last year was caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma, an Irish newspaper is reporting.
Last week marked the one-year anniversary of the Irish singer's death at age 56.
The 'Nothing Compares 2 U' star was found unresponsive at a home in south-east London.
Police at the time deemed her death non-suspicious.
In January, the Southwark Coroner's Court further confirmed O'Connor died of natural causes.
Now, The Irish Independent reports O'Connor's death certificate shows she died from an "exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma together with low grade lower respiratory tract infection".
The death certificate was reportedly registered by her first husband, John Reynolds, in London.
The pair, who divorced in 1991, had one child together.
O'Connor's death came 18 months after the death of her 17-year-old son, Shane.
At the time of her funeral, fans filled the street of her former seaside hometown for a funeral procession.
In addition for her music, O'Connor was known for her outspoken political and cultural stances and her fierce criticism of the Roman Catholic Church long before allegations of sexual abuse in the clergy were widely reported.
Late last week, a Dublin museum took down its wax figure of O'Connor after fans and family members raised concerns about its poor likeness to the late singer.
