Many videogame players on Saturday may be out of luck, as the PlayStation Network is reportedly experiencing global outages, leaving millions of players unable to access platform services.

The company posted on X that it was having issues.

The DownDetector website shows a sharp increase in reported outages throughout the day Saturday.

The network allows playing online, making purchases and using social features on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.

"Get the servers up now PlayStation enough I've got work tomorrow and limited time to play," one person posted on Reddit.

As of 7pm Saturday NZT, there were no updates on when the issue might be resolved on the company's status website.
