What is life like on Aotearoa's remotest island? Chatham Islanders: Tchakat Tchatam Airani is a series about a remote community we see and hear very little from.
Lois Croon (Ngāti Mutunga) and her husband Val came to the Chatham Islands in the 1970s with 4 kids under 5 and $100. Forty years later, the islands have finally been discovered big time. As tourists flock to this 'undiscovered paradise' the locals wonder how it will change the lives they've always lived.
