Hannah Lynch
Hannah Lynch is a Palagi and Samoan artist of Ngāti Porou descent who starred in Alena Lodkina's Petrol (2022), which was showcased at Locarno and MIFF and featured at MOMA's New Directors New Films Festival 2023. She composed scores for Left of Spring (2020), Bellum (2021), and dance works by Rose Philpott and Jess Crompton. Her music graces AWARUA (2023) and Love and Chaos (2022). Hannah directs her first funded short film, Holy Ghost (2024), blending sound, writing, and performance to explore life's urgency and spiritual dimensions. She anticipates releasing an EP under Hun Lynch in 2024, embodying her expansive artistic vision.
Esaú Allemora
Esaú is a media-agnostic creative and producer of boldly irreverent plays, television, short films, and stand-up comedy. His work is inspired from his experiences as a queer first-generation Mexican-American expat. His aesthetics are influenced by his work in New York and training with SITI Company, Elevator Repair Service, The Mad Ones, the Actor Apprenticeship at Actors Theatre of Louisville, and the BFA acting program at Oregon Center for the Arts at SOU. In Aotearoa, Esaú cut his teeth working in film production for BSAG Productions, Candlelit Pictures, GFC Films, and Piki Films. In addition, he adapted and directed Daddy Ubu (from Ubu Roi) for the Youth Company at ATC, created, produced, and performed Cholo Fugue at Basement Theatre, and has received funding to create a television series. He is currently producing Holy Ghost, a short film by Hannah Lynch for Day One Shorts. Esaú is committed to creating diverse work free from virtue signaling, intent on challenging audiences.
