What's the Disibili-Tea | Episode 5: Finn Hitch

From What's the Disabili-Tea, 6:00 am on 17 October 2022

Series Classification: PG (Parental Guidance)

Finn Hitch (They/Them) is a Trans/Non Binary person who has recently moved to Tāmaki Makaurau.  Finn lives with Autism, POTs and Fibromyalgia, a disorder where people experience widespread muscle pain, fatigue and tenderness.  Finn uses mobility aids to get around and takes medication to keep them moving.

Accessing queer spaces for Finn is tough.  They live in the burbs and use public transport to access the social scene.  More recently they have acquired a walker that they are getting us to in an attempt to access more queer places.

Finn has also customised a “battle” jacket combining their Q/D identities.  They are looking to take both these items with them when they visit K'Road as a statement for more visibility.
