Solomons in shock after youth dies from WW2 shell explosion

There has been a call for more awareness about unexploded World War II ordnance in Solomon Islands after a young man was killed by one exploding on Sunday in Honiara.

The tragedy which occurred on a residential property in the centre of the capital, also injured three other youths two of whom are still in a critical condition in hospital.

The tragedy has shocked the community and left many fearful.
