Followers of the past two Auckland mayoralty races could be forgiven for scratching their heads when reading Craig Lord's name among the list of contenders. But the engineer-turned-broadcaster is absolutely serious about his bid to lead Auckland Council, as the city faces some of the biggest challenges in its history. Over the next couple of weeks, we're going to be talking with all the main contenders vying for the mayoralty. We asked them to choose the venue, then sent our producer Matthew Theunissen along to get an idea of who they are and what their vision is for the city. Here he is with Craig Lord.
