State care abuse commission refutes claims of 'mock' sessions

From Morning Report, 8:23 am on 10 June 2019

The Royal Commission into the abuse of children in state care refutes claims it has been holding 'mock' sessions with survivors ahead of the real sessions.

Earlier on Morning Report, lawyer Sonja Cooper, who represents 1400 complainants, said that the 'pilot' sessions could be traumatising for victims having to re-tell their stories.

Commissioner Sandra Alofivae from the Royal Commission joins Corin Dann to discuss the claims.
