Tonga Youth MPs say few young people would be comfortable speaking their minds to politicians and leaders need to find other ways to connect with the youth.
Five New Zealand MPs travelled to Tonga to meet with their Parliamentary counterparts including MPs from Tonga Youth Parliament 2018.
Participants in that Parliament, Hans Jensen and Kilisitina Moala, say they're more comfortable speaking to politicians as a result but other youth won't speak their minds in this formal kind of setting.
