Aldous Harding, a self described "gothic folk" singer-songwriter from Lyttelton, performs live at WOMAD Taranaki 2018.
On the strength of just two albums Aldous Harding has toured globally, and secured an international recording deal with the legendary English label 4AD Records which has seen her career escalate over the past few years.
Her performance on the Bowl of Brooklyn stage on the opening night of Womad 2018 was highly anticipated … and Aldous delivered with original repertoire that captivated her capacity audience.
Harding does more than sing. She shape-shifts through a variety of roles - chanteuse, folk singer and balladeer -all executed with her twisted touch of humour and quiet horror.
