Nick Tipping pays tribute to NZ jazz legend Rodger Fox, who has died aged 71.

The jazz legend founded the Rodger Fox Big Band in 1973 and toured extensively here and overseas, playing at international jazz festivals including Montreux, Monterey and New Orleans.

He also taught at the New Zealand School of Music in Wellington.

Nick Tipping taught alongside Rodger at the NZSM and was the bass player for the Rodger Fox Big Band for many years.

In this show, he remembers his colleague and friend and looks back at his stellar career.
