Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra - The Sorcerer's Apprentice

Hamish McKeich takes the podium for the first time in an Auckland Philharmonia Premier Series concert to conduct an exciting concert of French music.

The highlight is a performance with harpsichord player Mahan Esfahani of Poulenc's wacky Concerto Champêtre.

Also on the programme, Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin, selections from Bizet's incidental music to the play L'Arlésienne, and The Sorcerer's Apprentice by Dukas.
