Two works by Franz Liszt – both with Italian themes.

The first of these works is Liszt's depiction of St Francis of Assisi Preaching to the Birds.
The second, the work with the title “Après une Lecture de Dante”, also known as the Dante Sonata, inspired by the 14th century text, the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri.
