Morton Trio pianist Liam Wooding talks with David Morriss about his recent experiences as a Fulbright Scholar in the United States, and the concert the Trio is currently touring in partnership with Chamber Music New Zealand.
Joined by three members of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, the Morton Trio perform Ernst von Dohnányi's "Sextet Op 37" and "Sextet" by Krzysztof Penderecki.
The Morton Trio, with help from an Arts Grant from Creative New Zealand, will be releasing its first album later this year: works by Johannes Brahms, and a new piece composed by the Trio's violinist Arna Morton.
