    Six young singers compete for New Zealand's leading singing prize. Aivale Cole, Emma Fraser, Frances Moore (sops), Claire Barton (mezzo), Phillip Rhodes (bar) & Wade Kernot (bass) perform before the judge, visiting South African-born soprano Elizabeth Connell, with Terence Dennis (pno), New Zealand SO/Michael Lloyd

    The evening begins with a selection of Lieder and art song. During the interval Elizabeth Connell talks with Christine Argyle.
