  Modern music saw some serious reinvention in the early 1970s at the hands of a generation of musicians raised amidst the trauma of post-war Germany. As well as Tangerine Dream, Can and Faust, there was NEU!, who splintered from an early line-up of fellow German pulse pioneers, Kraftwerk. After releasing their pivotal third album NEU! '75 only a few years later, NEU! split, leaving a small but powerful legacy that has lost none of its potency 30 years later. Marking NEU!
