The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra's Conductor Laureate, Franz-Paul Decker has had an association with the orchestra for over 40 years. Peter Shaw surveys the recorded performances from Radio New Zealand's archives and examines Decker's significant influence on orchestral performance in New Zealand
