Winner of the 2011 CANZ KBB citation for services to NZ music, ethnomusicologist Allan Thomas was a valued contributor to RNZ Concert, until his death last September. Tonight we repeat two of the many programmes he made over the years. The first is a 'Composer of the Week' talk from 2004 about the Music of the Silk Road, and the second an example from his 'Hymns for the People' series of 2008 (RNZ)
