    Uam- Julie Fowlis

    Uamis the third album (released in 2009) from the Scots Gaelic singer and multi-instrumentalist Julie Fowlis. The album's title means "From me", and refers to the way folk songs are passed on from singer to singer. Fowlis sings traditional work songs and ballads as well as songs she's written in collaboration with her husband and the band's bouzouki player Éamon Doorley (Shoeshine Records 307038)
