    2011 New Zealand Community Trust Chamber Music Competition Final

    Since 1965, Chamber Music New Zealand has nurtured and showcased secondary school music students in its annual secondary schools chamber music contest. The contest has proved to be a hothouse for top drawer NZ artists such as Michael Houstoun, Bridget Douglas and John Chen. This year six ensembles compete on Sat July 16 for the range of six prizes including a minimum of $1000 for each member of the winning group (recorded last night in the University of Waikato’s Gallagher Concert Chamber, Hamilton by RNZ).
