  We made music together for 25 years and I learned so much from him - he opened my eyes and ears to Brahms, Liszt, and especially Wolf (Daniel Barenboim)

  The great German baritone passed away recently at his home in Bavaria. Tonight we repeat the second of two programmes by Jon Tolansky from 2003 in which he talks with Fischer-Dieskau and reviews his career in the concert hall, recording studio and on the operatic stage (JT)
