Jian Liu
Head of Piano at the New Zealand School of Music since 2011, Dr Jian Liu has an established international performing and teaching career. At the age of 12 Jian Liu was accepted into the prestigious Beijing Conservatory, and then when he was 15 he moved to the USA where he started winning competitions.
With a special interest in chamber music he's in hot demand as an ensemble player and has formed the Te Kōkī Trio with his NZSM colleagues. Tonight Jian Liu talks with Kenneth Young about his life in music (RNZ)
