Staff from the University of the South Pacific in Fiji have been taking their skills to help students in areas severely affected by Cyclone Winston.

The USP's Faculty of Science, Technology and Environment have been conducting science labs and study clinics in 14 high schools in Fiji's Western Division.
These schools were left without their science facilities due to the severe damage that Winston left in its wake.
The USP says some of the schools lost vital pieces of equipment needed to conduct the experiments required by the curriculum.
Associate dean, Dr Bibhya Sharma, said while students have been provided with classrooms, stationery, uniforms and meals, there was a dire need to support schools to conduct essential science work.
In addition, counselling services and study clinics in mathematics were dovetailed with the mobile labs.
