Over 1000 people of all-ages turned out to support Kiribati's first Paradise Beatz music festival in South Tarawa.

The event celebrated the best modern music in Kiribati with the top singers, rappers, musicians, producers and dancers performing.
It was also the first time an event like this had been held at the airport.
Organisers said the crowd really enjoyed being in a place normally reserved for cars, and children also had the chance to dance, jump and run around to the music.

After the festival, organisers recommended the best Kiribati performers to the Fest'Napuan, a free to public music festival in December in Vanuatu.
