A cyclist has died following a crash with a car this morning near Matamata in Waikato.
Emergency services responded to the incident on State Highway 29 near Pond Road at about 10.30am.
The cyclist was found in a critical condition and died at the scene.
The death takes the holiday road toll to 12.
