Police in American Samoa have captured a man who escaped from the territory's prison two weeks ago.
Thomas Siaumau is understood to have called the police on Monday night to say he wanted to hand himself in.
He was then picked up and returned to the prison.
Siaumau was convicted in May of shooting at a police car.
He escaped prison on the 3 July, and his absence was only noticed when a local woman called the prison to say she'd seen him on the street.
