Over 200 members of the Samoan community in Aotearoa gathered at Le Maota o Samoa last week in South Auckland's Mangere to discuss the citizenship bill
They shared their views with Acting Prime Minister Vaovasamanaia Winston Peters and the NZ First Party to ensure Green MP Teanau Tuiono's bill to restore the citizenship of Samoans that was removed by the Citizenship (Western Samoa) Act 1982 bill will go through the second and third reading.
