3:10 The passage to adulthood has changed

It used to be pretty easy to define adulthood in New Zealand. Your parents would throw you a 21st birthday party and give you a giant, tacky key to signify you were old enough to come and go from the house as you please. But the metrics for reaching adulthood are changing says  Emma Jacobs, a columnist for the Financial Times who writes about career and work. We'll talk to her about how this generation is putting off the hallmarks of adulthood; marriage, home ownership and commitment to a career and how economics are driving this change.
