For today's first song we have a Christmas track from a very talented singer- who just so happens to be just 12 years old!

The single, Aotearoa Sun was released on Friday, with artist Jaya hitting the stage of Coca-Cola Christmas In The Park at Auckland's Domain over the weekend.

Aotearoa Sun is an original Kiwi Christmas song, with a Summer feel.

1.15 NZ's first rural telethon

This Thursday is New Zealand's first rural telethon called "The Big Feed".

It's been run by 'Meat the Need' Charity, that's M.E.A.T the Need, to connect farmers' produce with families that need it across New Zealand. 

They're calling for thousands of farmers across the country to donate some of what they produce.

1.25 Tūhura Otago Museum heads to Aitutaki

Science is flying from Aotearoa to the Cook Islands today. 

Tūhura Otago Museum are putting on The Aitutaki Science Expo on the outer island of Aitutaki this week. 

It's about connecting with people whose homes are being impacted by climate change, and engaging Pasifika children in science.

Jesse speaks to Emily Eastgate from the Science Engagment Co-ordinator Pasifika Otago Museum.

There's a hidden story about New Zealand's diplomatic withdrawal from Saigon as South Vietnam collapsed.

 Artificial intelligence feels a little less artificial using a new chatbot called ChatGPT that can do everything from explain a medical diagnosis to writing what sounds like a heartfelt letter to Santa. Developed by OpenAI, founded by Elon Musk and other investors, ChatGPT responds to questions using machine learning and pre-programmed scripts. Tech watchers around the world are calling this a turning point in computing. We’ll talk to Professor of AI at UNSW Sydney Toby Walsh about the promise and the potential problems of ChatGPT.
