It's less than two years until the 2025 Special Olympics National Summer Games to be held in Ōtautahi Christchurch.
The games happen every four years and attract more than 1500 athletes and coaches from across the country.
For local Special Olympics clubs, it means raising the funds to get them there.
Martin Barrie is chairperson for Special Olympics Whangārei and Dargaville, he talks to Jesse about the challenges they're hoping the public can help them with.
