From Afternoons, 3:10 pm on 20 December 2022

Boxing day marks the beginning of the summer movie season, and among the offerings opening in New Zealand is the remarkable story of an amateur historian who made a blockbuster discovery 10 years ago.  Philippa Langley helped find the remains of  King Richard the III who died in battle 500 years ago. A new film tells the story of her own battle to be taken seriously and her relentless quest to overcome the doubters and re-write history. It's called The Lost King. We'll talk to Philippa Langley.

DNA analysis shows Richard III was blue-eyed and had blonde hair as a boy.
