While an increasing number of women are getting into the motor industry, it's fair to say that car mechanics has traditionally been a male dominated field.
Now a Christchurch based mechanic is trying to change that.
She is holding workshops across the country to empower women around cars and teach the basics of maintaining and fixing a car.
