A bag was crocheted from recycled plastic bags (endemic here) with a knitted cushion saying 'so I became plastic - there's plenty of plastic in the sea' as part of an exhibition in Mae Sot to raise money for art projects for migrant schools, by Katie Julian, a New Zealander based on the Thai-Burma border, where she write textbooks and teaches knitting.
