Is it a plane? Is it a bird? Well it's sort of a cross between the two. When the weather's fine they're often seen buzzing up beaches and water-ways, but they're not just the chair and motor-mower contraptions of 30 years ago. Imported, factory-built microlights can cost up to $300,000 - the cost of a good Harley Davidson, and offering a similar sense of freedom.
