An 86yo woman’s mission to cast a vote for Bird of the Year

Frustrated at not being able to vote online for the prestigious, sometimes scandalous Bird of the Year competition because she doesn't have a computer, 86-year-old Nicky Dunne took things into her own hands - literally. The Ashburton woman penned a letter to Forest and Bird, which runs the competition, casting her vote. She spoke to Logan Church.
