Businesses in downtown Auckland say their patrons are being driven away by trucks, dust and lack of access due to the City Rail Link construction outside their front doors. As the project’s deadline is pushed out even further, they’re demanding compensation, but Auckland Council says that’s not going to happen, not even in the form of a rates rebate.
