The countdown is on for gun owners to hand in their now banned firearms.
The government's buy-back scheme runs out at midnight Friday - but gun owners will have to get an event before 8pm or before their local station closes, if they want to be compensated.
So far more than 56,000 firearms have been handed in and there are still a number of events being held around the country for any last minute rush.
