Nelson women to make vows, commit to selves in love ceremony

It's wedding season and on Sunday up to 24 brides will gather at the alter on a Nelson beach, take their vows and make a commitment to themselves.

The "love ceremony" invites women to commit to loving themselves, and is pitched as an act of self acceptance - but you do not have to be single to take part.

The ceremony at Tahunanui beach is being hosted by Nelson massage therapist Stephanie Crampton.

She explains to Lisa Owen what will be happening.
