A permanent fix for Auckland's Harbour Bridge is due to come ahead of schedule.
The temporary repair to the bridge will likely be replaced with a permanent strut this weekend.
Brett Gliddon from Waka Kotahi told Checkpoint they're hopeful it will be installed overnight on Saturday.
Meanwhile, traffic is flowing across the harbour bridge, as strong winds which were expected in Auckland this afternoon have dropped off.
